Cool Send Visitors Straight to playgame.php Page

I am going to experiment with my site and send my visitor straight to my playgame.php page instead of sending them to the game.php page and them clicking the play game button. That means that now I have to edit every code that points the visitor to the game.php page, or can/should I do a redirect in the .htaccess file to make it go straight from the game.php to the playgame.php. Can someone give me guidence on how to do this? Thanks.

Well I am averaging now about 1.7 pageviews per person. That means that they are not even getting to the games. Plus I was told by gameserpent that it helps with stumble traffic is they send people straight to the playgame.php page.

I don't have that kind of system coded, and I am getting nearly 18 page views average per visitor.

18 page views per visitor? That is incredible! Do you get decent traffic too?

Anyway, does anyone know what I could do?

Have you ever though about the support forums for the particular arcade script you are using? Maybe they have a mod there for it, or maybe even a manual edit for it.

Supernova.........you are getting more page views because you have the opposite of what he has.

He has an intermediate page that has a "click to play" icon on it. Which is ok........however there is a way to change it so that SU users (or anyone you want) doesnt have to see that "click to Play" page. I use it for FireCade.com.........If the user comes from say Supernovaarcade........I can make it to where they go straight to the game and the the in between page ...thus he would get more pageviews too!

BTW Supernova.......if you use PHPAS you do have that coded in but it must be turned off.

ArcadeScript is what he uses, and there is no OFFICIAL support forum (except ArcadeWebmasters, but the owner never visits)

What's the point of that then if you can't provide support for it. :P
