Banner Exchange display issues

Hey all, how's it going?

Has anyone else had this problem? One of the banner exchanges I use, which yields very good traffic for me, often slows my whole site down. I just now had to drop it because it was adding 5+ seconds to my site download. But, I really don't want to drop them.

So, is there a good way to handle this? A special way to include their code without adversely affecting your own site?

put your banners in a separate file,then iframe that file.
the site will load even if the banners in the iframe don't.

yeah most banner exchanges puts the code in an iframe for you, but do what 2GrandArcade said and you should be fine.
