Hi ......my site gamingbored.com is down because while i was away i let the domain expire (i know im a ....) so i have a new domain registered and have pointed the name servers to my shared host ...how do in redirect so when the new domain is entered in search bar can it replace the old domain name ? is it a 301 in ht or ? help please....

it expired a week ago right?
you still have time to renew it.

namecheap is the one that is parking it.

you can renew it. But you need to do a redirect in the .htaccess file.

The trouble is that the email address i registered with namecheap is no longer valid (hoster went bust)so the log in details i cannot receive i can renew the domain but they wont give me access to change nameservers. I have a new domain i will use for the site in question but not sure how to redirect using .htaccess....with new domain name
