Update: it doesn't do it when you turn off js. as Google would operate, so it's no use.

Your site has the same content under two different URLS which is a form of duplicate content. Ideally you want only one URL. Well not ideally - for sure.

There is no problem with that. Almost every site on the web has URL like that. The actually URL is the first one but you have in your .htaccess file code telling your server to load the first URL when ever you go to the second one. The second one really doesn't exist. it is just a server trick.

Ya all these scripts have it. Problem is Google sees two urls with same content on them both. I thought to block it in robots?

google doesn't see the php pages unless you have links to them on your site or backlinks to them,like this thread.

there shouldn't be any need for a redirect on a mod rewrite,except for the above.

IMO, i don't think it matters even if google does index all the php links.
the only thing they may do is just hide them for the search results.

did you know that http://www.arcades247.com and http://arcades247.com are 2 pages and dub content?

there are a few reasons to use 301 for the www's,but not so much for dub content.

A few people were linking to that. The authortiy link is http://www.arcades247.com Anyway to make sure I've now redirected it with 301. Back to other point in GWT it is showing two urls as having same meta des the php links and the mod links. I only thought to tell Google not to index the php ones through robots, what do you think of that?
