Game versus Page Flow

Hi everyone,

I have an opinion question for everyone, maybe someone has already performed an experiment on this one.

Anyways, I've decided to present all games at the size they were designed for. However, the problem that I've come across is that one page format does not necessarily flow well for all game sizes (or at least I have not devised one yet).

So, do you think it is better to have a nice presentation and sacrifice game experience, or sacrifice page layout?

I'm definitely interested in your opinions. If you check out my site, be sure to use the hosted url (copy and paste from the textbox adjacent to the game preview image) so that you don't get linked out.

On one of my sites I have only limited the games width because it affects a sites layout more then the height. It works well I find, and while the width is limited it is usually big enough to accommodate for most games and wider ones still look good.

Why not load the games in their original size and glory in a popup window?

Because that usually involves visiting 2 pages just to play a game. Didn't you rant about game plugs lol?

Plus depending on browser settings the user must choose whether to allow popups for that domain. Too many hassles.
