Hey Everyone! Almost Friday! Well, I guess it is already for some of you.
I have this interesting issue where totals for games played are accumulating too fast. They are only updated one place, yet the total continues to grow at a rate of two. On this routine, I placed some logic to prevent counting a second time if hit twice in a row, but what would cause IE7 and Firefox to query a page twice? I'm assuming that's the problem. Thanks! I've run into this before. In my situation it was games that are mochiads enabled. The first page load is fine, but then mochiads does some sort of security screening/check or whatever that requires the page to be loaded again.
The second page load is purely text based, no flash objects, etc... are loaded... If you want to count your game plays use a flash object to do so. Please read this thread, it will explain it in more detail: https://www.mochiads.com/community/f...ds/14000#14000 Although, this may not be your problem at all... See if it is happening on mochiad only games, then you will know.
