Please help me in choosing web hosting

Hi everyone,
I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (bluehost.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)

Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?

I am now checking http://www.hosting24.com/ - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".

What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..
Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.

I use http://www.streamline.net and must say I am very impressed with their service. I use their cheaper dedicated server package and it is brilliant.
Their support is fantastic too, often replying within an hour on a working day.

ixwebhosting is dead slow and only allow 100 concurent users.

I bought webhosting from them thinking they were great and everything until I saw the speeds.

Allthough, their support is great, so its all about where your priorities are.

Now I'm using www.streamline.net which is ok. the first two-three weeks I had my website with them there was alot of downtime.

They guarantee 99% uptime, but the first month or so I was at 85% uptime so I contacted them and asked them about their guarantee, and the reply I got was:

"the uptime is calculated from the entire hosting period"

So I replied asking how that worked as if I decided to end my hosting with them now I wouldn't have 99% uptime, and I got no answer to that.

So basicly, the speeds with streamline is better, but the support is a bit lacking (there was a few more issues as well)

i use hostgator and they are good tbh

I use hostmonster a division of bluehost.... For the same money you get far more than hostgator. I have great uptime. I ran two medium size arcades (1000+uv a day) with great success. I just tried hostgator and I find them a bit lacking. Besides I love all the features in hostmonsters version of cpanel.
If you can pay a year in advance I think its the same price as hostgator. I am sure if you search around there is probably a discount code or affiliate link somewhere as well. When I signed up I payed for 2 years at 4.95 a month, I am not sure you can find that one again.

The only downside to hostmonster is they do not offer dedicated servers, only dedicated ip, so if you have a big site... forget it. You will never be able to upgrade, you will have to move. I experienced my first growing pains the other day at 13,000 pv, i got a cpu time out for using to much ram.

Thats my two cents, worth what you paid. I am still looking for the perfect host, 100%uptime, unlimited everything, 2.00 a month, pm me if you know of this perfect host!
