How easy is it to make a .swf file

I want to re-direct the hotlinks from the leeching site to my site but don't know the first thing about creating a .swf file.

Thanks Keith! I was actually over there and read the article. It's pretty good so I am gonna make some flash link and put it in place of the hot linked file as the directions mentioned and get some of that nice traffic to my site.
