Video resources?

Hi, I know this is probably a newbie question, but I am one

I just started my first arcade, and other thing I was thinking of was to build up a funny videos site. I am quite new in those areas (getting better bit a bit though

) .

So anyway my question will be if any of you knows a nice source where you can get videos, the same as would be mohi for the games, or something like that.

Why host when you can just embed their code? Save tons of bandwidth.

Does you tube have any program in which you can ear any money by sharing?

Is there anything like this at all?

Hey thanks a lot. that gives me an Idea of what can I do. I will have to think more and developed the Idea I have in mind, for the moment I am working with my Arcade, so I will write down this in my "to-do" list and I will be back to you when I can dedicate some time to it.

There are reasons to host games and videos rather than to embed their code. What happens if you build up a site, write unique descriptions and all that for each game only to find a month down the line, the site that was hosting your games is no longer there, you have therefore got a number of game pages where the games are not working.

Yep that's the reason I prefer hosting games than embedding them.

sharing websites exist for a reason, i dont think anyone should host videos on their own hosting, like u said it would use ton of bandwith, but you can just upload to a sharing website like 2shared and get the video from there

Thread was brought back from the dead! I made a section on Assassin Games with walkthrough videos I found on youtube.

I wouldnt imagine any issues with embeding video from youtube as you know that site isnt going anywhere for a long time. Save yer bandwidth/storage!
