Archbob, not all cheating methods are easy to find. I've had some in which I had to compile information with the participation of several fellow webmasters to establish a trend. These webmasters are well respected here, and they had no idea they were being cheated until I brought it to their attention.

Be careful guys, and let's not make it easier for them by giving them easy access to how to cheat our very own systems.

there you go Mr. Fro edited my posts just for you. But I got news for you.....it is still happening despite what I say or do and this particular thing was only one thing...there is more.

Wise old Gamehopper once said it right......there will always be cheating there will always be scripts.

I give up trying to help you guys I will no longer share what I see with anyone.

Nobody appreciates it anyway so I really have no business exposing anything.

You know, one would think that pointing out exposed methods of cheating would make the cheaters go back to the drawing board... You know like "they are on to me now" kind of thought.

for awhile the iframe cheat was popular, and after I saw it exposed 3-4 times in one month then it sort of disappeared.

I guess I just dont see what all the bickering is about in this case.

I have said it over and over, and I believe it totally. We help each other, we are community, and that in itself is our best defense.If we are aware of how we are being cheated, we can all watch for it on our own sites. Like I said in another thread, take the time to go over some stats every day or so, and you will be cheated less and catch more of them.

Thanks Bloodred for editing the posts, I'll be happy to discuss these methods privately. No need to get upset about this! I have always helped fellow webmasters with potential cheaters in 1 to 1 communication. David, I remember we worked together on at least one occasion.

Just be mindful that cheaters are watching this forum very closely and are among us. Giving them new ideas publicly doesn't help the community, it hurts it. Privately discussing methods by knowing who you are sharing the information with IS helpful, however.

Well, I'm talking about in terms of traffic trading.

I don't have too much of a problem because I only trade with the larger sites and sites I know that don't cheat.
