Mark,

If someone were to click out from my site to yours and then clicked on an ad or one of your traffic trade banner outs. What would would your system see it as ? a bounce or a hit?

Currently my trading system does not have attach quality to a visitor; I rely on Google Analytics for this information. As long as the visitor's IP is unique from your site outside a 24hr window, my system will count it as a hit in.

Speaking with other webmasters about the subject, I feel that the ad click would log as a bounce since they will quickly leave the site. If they click to a partner site, I open a new browser window to the partner site. If the user leaves my site open, I think GA logs this like the person is active on the site. If the user closes my site, I think GA logs this as a bounce. Google is protective to how their algorithms work, so it is mostly theory what GA would see.
