Hostgator
I read that alot of guys host with HostGator. Do you ever run into a problem with max_user_connections?
I just switched to them and signed up for 1 month to try them out. All was going smooth, my site is fast and then noticed in my error log, last night there was a max_user_connection error. Guess my site was down for that.... Any way around this, suggestions, other/better hosts? I would hate to move my site again, but hate worse to have good traffic and then have my site go down due to too many people on it! |

I have been testing out HostMonster. Haven't had any problems with them so far. Maybe I should check my logs, It has been some time since I have checked them. However they are good, support is good along with the price. Let me know if your interested, I'll hook you up with a $4.99 per month coupon.

HostGator are oversellers. You should NEVER go with an overseller. Guess that leaves you with 1% of the worlds hosts to choose from.
Try getting a VPS. Shared hosting just doesnt work for arcades. |

Honestly;
Ive been on hatchling plan on hostgator (shared) for the past 7 months or so. It has been the most pleasant hosting experience i have had yet  They have great uptime, suport, plans, etc. They also seem to live up to their plans, i recently had a good 300+ users online for a good 12 hours playing games, and they held up just fine (which i was truly amazed) and i didnt get 1 complaint thru HG for resources  Overall = A+ host, would reccomend to all. |
