Whats up..
Hi,
Im back again.. and belive it or not my odd ball arcade PUNKARCADE is back in my greedy little hands. Pushin for pennies again.. but its fun. So, I am thinking about getting a template done for my site. Its seems like the right thing to do if you really love your baby. As you know there are some good looking sites out there. But what really convinced me was taking a look at .. Arcade From Hell (I think the URL is right, im at work and cant check it). Is that a GREAT LOOKING site or what? That guy did some work on my site once. Im not sure he hangs out here. Im thinking about trying the contests over at SITEPOINT. I have seen some good work there. Im figuring between 1-200 bucks. Could be cool though. thx

Great looking and great performing are two different things....arcadefromhell is a nice design - it does not particularly appeal to me - but clearly a lot of work went into the illustrations and the rest of the template as well.
However, that site has like no traffic - no matter how nice it looks. Focus on building active users and progressive traffic - |

The main thing I like from ArcadeFromHell is pretty much only the "featured games" area. The way the slider there is very different
 As for good designed sites, you can check out woochoo's http://www.thisarcade.com . I really like his design and it's a piece of work from http://www.bluetrendzdesigns.com . They specialize in a lot of arcade sites. They have some great ones in their portfolio
