Dot com or Dot Net

So what do you think? Is it still better to go with a dot com (.com) domain name or is dot net (.net) fine.

Grab .com for sure. People that don't really remember the top-domain would give their first try at TEHARCADE.COM instead of TEHARCADE.NET.

.com is well known to every person worldwide and more just go for .com as soon as you say something like this...

Yea its on google! People would type .com Same if someone said check that on wikipedia you would dive in there for the .com right away... Hands down to date .com is top dog weather you like it or not thats the way the internet goes.

I read somewhere that when people hear an address and don't remember the .xxx part they always try .com first, then .net, so .com is always the best bet in my opinion unless you can get it really fancy like "crappy.info" or "buy.it".... you get the idea
