What do you think of this banner? Is it one you would allow a banner exchange to show on your site?

I would allow it, Ones like that generally get a decent ctr. Ive had ones like that on my site forever and they never really seem to affect visitors too much. Not to my knowledge atleast.

I wouldent allowed it.

1. It's not family friendly.
2. The user that clicks get "disapointed" when he don't find those kind of games on the site.
3. CTR aren't everything...

You are correct on all that, given that yeah, one site that first comes to mind is fishflashgames, it would be a perfect advertisement for an arcade like that because it has games that correlate to the banner. So yes to be more specific it wouldnt be too great of a banner unless it is used for a site with somewhat adult oriented games on it.

I would not allow such a banner, in fact if you look at my site, you will see that it has absolutely no banners at all.

Yeah, I don't like banners like that at all. Like previously stated, it's not family friendly.

It's a fact that sex sells regardless of the product. I have seen sexy Coke ads, sexy insurance ads, just about anything you can think of. I would not only allow that ad, I highly recommend using one like it. I do on another site and I find that the traffic it generates outweighs the negatives of the user not finding racy games on my site. If I can generate a 5% ctr instead of a 2% ctr and 1/3 of the clickers leave my site right away because my games weren't porn. I still win.
Its a numbers game.

Now having said that, that's about as racy an ad as I would like to see on my site. Anything more provocative than a few anime chics and I think it goes too far for a children's site.

I wouldn't allow it either, but it would be an ad that generate a high CTR, like everything else with boobs in it. Sex sells, no question about it
