Your own games?

Hi,

Soon, my first flash game will be published. Nothing special, just to get a feel of it.

Can someone who develop/publish own flash games share experiences? Does it worth?

It can be very well worth it. If the game is good and you destibute it well you can get a great jump in traffic and exposure.

From what I've heard, developing games is a BIG...repeat BIG source of traffic.....

IF the game is good.

There are a lot of crappy games out there...so read up on some tutorials, brush up on your art skills, and get to making games....it's the BEST form of advertising for arcades...why? because it's free once you've distributed it to 100+websites

Not only is it free and permanent advertising that gets spread across hundreds if not thousands of sites, but this form of advertising can make you a fortune both directly and indirectly. If you are able to put MochiAds in the game and the game takes off you get big money from MochiAds and from players clicking your logo and then gaining you money from the ads on your site. Just to give an idea of what a really big game can make. Desktop Tower Defense made 100k in about a year from MochiAds.
