Hey

like te title say with the new PR update youtube is PR 3 and Think arcade also down from PR 5 to PR 3 !

Any comments ??

Well I've been checking think arcade's ranking in Alexa and they've been droping down for over 6 months so this is no big surprise to me!!

Some arcades have gotten PR boost, so who knows.

I could tell for the last two weeks that Google was making some big changes. When I logged into my google.com/webmasters account the links section for each domain was unavailable for over a week. Also I have a site thats only two months old that got a pr3 and my arcade went from 3 to 1...Not a big deal but it is interesting to see how big of an effect Google's algorithms changes have on sites.

oxidearcade was pr4 down to pr3 and ebreaktime pr3 down to pr0.

Does Google want people to not guess how this PR thing works hence the drastic changes.

Actually, you're not too far from the truth. They don't disclose how it works so that you won't tweak your site just to gain PR. They want you to treat content as king. This is just their way of using an unintelligent robot to figure out what you got for content.

everyone is slowing decline...only the rich is getting richer

.....there are too many websites created everyday but the population doesn't grow fast enough to keep up!!!!!!

do you have any backlinks to ereaktime?
that is kinda a requirement for pr.

i bet a link to widgetbucks didn't help.btw,you can and should remove that link.
on the bright side you do have some pr1 pages.

i am very curious what happent to thinkarcade, he use to have alot visitors and his site is totally death right now...

first of all,traffic and what you rank in search engines has nothing to do with pagerank.
you could have a pr8,but only have 10 visitors a day.
thinkarcade has said that he doesn't spend as much in advertising,so that is why he has less traffic.

i had checked the site out a while ago and thought it would drop to a 4.why it dropped to a 3 maybe the same reason a lot of arcades dropped 4 to 3,it takes more to maintain a pagerank.
