I have to admit I'm amazed at the activity and number of members we have checking in daily recently. Thanks everyone, appreciate your participation and making this such a great forum!

I don't think that number is very accurate. I'm looking at people who are showing as currently active, yet in their profile their last activities are from up to 15 hours ago.

I think you'd need to shorten the time of what is considered an active user for that statistic to be accurate. Perhaps change it so it considers a user active if they've shown activity in the last 15 minutes instead of the last 7+ hours.

ACTIVE doesnt mean in the moment....
I think a normal VB forum uses 24 hrs as a default. Another word if you have visited in a 24 hr period you are an active member. I think this is a good way to go, if not a 15 minute timer and you visited 2 hrs ago...you wont be an active meber and that would suck.

Much better. I always thought it just wasn't working properly, but I see it was supposed to be daily users.

Talk Arcades is really doing some great improvements. I know I will be sticking around for a while here and hopefully more webmasters come a long as well.
