I liked the community until those yahoo ads started popping up. I'm not a big fab of these, which is why I quit namepros.com. Not that it's much of a deal, just quite annoying after a while. I try to stay away from these types of forums.

Yahoo Ads?? Earlier, I tried installing a mod to put 1 ad under the first post (and only the first post) -- Seen it, didnt like it, and removed it..

There has already been the 1 Yahoo ad at the very top of the site..

He's not doing this as charity.

He got to earn some to cover his cost.
If he makes tons of $, good for him.

pretty dumb if you ask me, its hard to find a truly free forum on the net. A few ypn ads arent going to kill you..maybe im a bit harsh but get over it..

Yeah, he needs to pay for hosting, the domain, advertising, the prizes he's giving out. The least you can do is repect that he is trying to make SOME profit.

Lets be honest...it costs very little to host a site these days...I dont think its really about cost, its just about trying to earn a dollar or 2..and theres nothing wrong with that.

If it was a purely non commercial site then I guess that would be a differant story.

yea also hes giving out free arcade scripts. Think how much time theyve put into the arcade. A few ads will not do any harm!

He has to make some money somehow. If it were me, I personally would put more ads than this.

I personally didn't realise that there were ads.

Anyways, what wrong with a few text ads. It's not like their pop-ups. Anyways, there not much peopl at he site at the moment so I doubt he even makes enough to cover the cost of the site.
