How does payment work for some of the big scripts?

Too hard to explain in the title. What I'm curious about is how each of the big scripts handle pricing for upgrades. Like if I buy PHPAS, for example, will I get free upgrades for life when/if new versions come out or are only minor versions free? What about the other scripts?

It depends on the script. For example; Arcadem will give you upgrades for a certain length of time depending on which license you bought. I'm not sure about the others, but I'm sure someone here will know.

Onarcade provides free upgrades for life as far as I am aware. You just need to make the mods to your script or delete the old one and upgrade.

They also help with making changes to the script like more functionality and changes to the layout etc etc.

phpAS is free upgrades for life
onArcade is free upgrades for minor versions (eg 2.1), but there is a fee for major upgrades (v3)
