When you guys are saying that it decreased your earnings. How much did it go down per click? For how long did you let it roll for? The more data you gather, the more accurate it will be. So if you only get a couple clicks a day, and just tested it a couple days it will not be accurate enough.

I tried it for probably about a month. But, I also don't have very high traffic yet, so maybe my site is not a good example of whether the filter is effective or not. I didn't gather any exacts but I observed a decline of about 60%. I'm not knocking it, it seems to be working great for others.
Could the filter be geared more towards larger sites that attract better yielding ads? What has been working for me is observing my own site and filtering other *cough* arcade *cough* ads. |

I have decent traffic on my site, and my CPM and CPC are slightly lower than usual. So I just removed the list again.

This issue have been discussed a lot before. But, remember that Google wants to earn most money for them self. The way they do that is to optimize the ads on your site to yield the most eCPM as possible. Therefor, if you remove the right for some sites to advertise on your site it may actually decrese your overall earnings.
There is no point on having high cpc ads on your site if they don't get clicked...
