Default Selling on ebay

I was just wondering if anybody here has ever had much luck selling websites on ebay. I've read some bad reports from people about buying sites there but haven't found many stories about getting rich from selling websites there.

I bought oxidearcade off there but i didn't have a clue what I doing or looking for, I paid a little too much perhaps but I heard a lot of people getting taken for more. I hear of people selling domain names on there and make some good pocket change!

Basically there is a chance you will get "Ripped Off" no matter where you buy something online...

I prefer looking at the Digital Point, "Buy, Sell or Trade" Forums.. Shawn the owner has a great rep and the Mods usually keep an eye on things...

You can also look at SitePoint Market place...

I think you would have a better chance of having a successful sale on either of those sites as opposed to eBay but you should look around the threads like: Chat or such and see if anyone is complaining of a Scammer, you should also look at peoples iTrader stats and see if they are highly rated...

Another option would be requesting a "Snail Mail" contract which you write and send to the buyer and then (Signed/Sent Back) by the Buyer through the U.S. Postal Service or whatever service it is in another country just to have some proof tho it may not help that much...

I think there are also online "Escrow Services" that do this kind of thing for a Fee and it may be more than you would want to spend just to make a few bucks from your site...
