What you said isn't adding up cadeking.

I think your screenshot is legit, but Adsense
doesn't pay good for Arcades. The CTR
is so low. If you are getting high CTR than
the traffic isn't legit.

It's possibly paid to click mixed in with arcade traffic

Hitsfree-

Im sorry but you are completely wrong there. I have been in the game long enough, to know that getting people to click your ads wont get you anywhere? Do you think google will even let you get past $100 by paying people to click your ads, I dont think so.

Thinking outside the square, is what seperates big earners from small.

CadeKing -

Banner exchanges get 1-3% CTR usually.

Do the math and you'll see buying traffic from exchanges is
a fast way to lose money. You could lose your Adsense account too.
You don't need to risk it.

Adwords is cool though.

I bet you that there are a lot of banner exchange owners on this forum. And I bet the majority of them can say they have multiple return advertisers.

Now advertiser might be losing money if they buy once off. But do you really think there would be repeat advertisers as well as business for banner exchanges if there wasn't money to be made?

This may be true but the advertisers use YPN or something else.
Adsense won't do it.

I beg to differ, adsense, and CPA networks will work in any niche with the right tweaking

Well if you get 3.4% CTR on 1,000 impressions costing $0.50/CPM so 34 clicks it works out at $0.014/click and keywords are expensive for arcades about $0.25/click so you can get more out of a banner exchange, a good one!

That being said, there is not much scope for revenue with Adsense anymore unless you have huge organic traffic, a long term objective.

I'm a banner exchange operator, so I'll pipe in with what I can share.

Yes, I have repeat customers, lots of them because they are usually very happy with the quality and cost of the advertising I offer. 4%+ CTR is not uncommon with FunKlicks, and unlike many other exchanges, we only count unique clicks in that statistic. Plus our price is nice.

Most customers run YPN, although some are using AdSense, AdEngage, popups and CPM banners, etc. Some advertisers can make a profit without YPN, some can't.

Now, one comment that specifically needs a response...

While AdSense may kick you out for click fraud or participating in auto-surf traffic exchanges, AdSense won't kick you out for advertising your site and bringing in relevant traffic. I can't recall any arcade webmasters using AdSense getting the boot, actually.

Indeed,

There are quite a few people on this forum, who are paying for traffic, who don't use yahoo.

Do you seriously think they would be buying traffic if they weren't making money?

little while ago it was posted on their blog warning people not to use banner exchanges.
they didn't say you couldn't,but banner exchanges can cause invaild clicks/impressions.
i only see that happen if the exchange is sending you a bot instead of a real person.
