enTraffic.com - Content Based CPC Exchange

Yes, you heard it right ... after months and months of development, I have finally launched an SFW Entertainment traffic exchange service called enTraffic (Entertainment Traffic Exchange) and am ready open its door to the SFW Webmaster community.

So what is enTraffic.com?

enTraffic.om is a new take on the banner exchange network focusing on the content (aka games, videos, pictures) of entertainment websites. As most of you can attest, users that visit your website from a link that links directly to some sort of content spend more time on the website, thus more pageviews and a higher rate of return visitors for you. This is compared to the current traffic exchange programs that drive traffic from a random icon placed on a website that sends the visitor to the main page of another website.

So how does enTraffic.com work?

enTraffic.com is a CLICK BASED traffic exchange. This means that you will earn credits for each click your website generates to other members items. We believe a click based system will benefit both the larger and smaller arcades and allow them to generate more traffic than if it were based upon a clicks + impressions ratio. And at no time should items from your websites be displayed on your websites. If they are, don?t worry, any clicks to them will not be deducted from your account.

Sounds great ? what do I do to sign-up?

Simple. All you, the SFW Website owner, has to do is head over to the website, enTraffic.com, click on the JOIN TODAY link and sign-up. Make sure to put a valid email address as the script will send out a confirmation email before you can access your account. Once you confirm your account you are ready to login. After logging in you will be presented with your control panel allowing you to do many things. Since this will be your first time logging in, you will need to add some websites to your account.

To add websites your account, click on the MANAGE WEBSITES link on the menu and then you?ll see at the top MANAGE WEBSITES (add new website). Click on the ADD NEW WEBSITE link and you?ll be shown the new website form. Just fill in all the fields and click on the ADD WEBSITE button. And there you go ? you?ve added a website to your account. Make sure to add ALL WEBSITE that you plan on placing the enTraffic.com code on and adding items for. You are only allowed to add items from website that are in your account.

Your next step will be to go to the GENERATE LINKING CODE option from the menu. Once you click on this you will be shown the javascript linking code generator. Here you?ll be able to customize almost every aspect of how the items from enTraffic.com will be displayed on your website. After you?ve selected all your option, click on the GENERATE CODE button and the page will refresh with your linking code and show how the items will be displayed. Just copy the display code and paste it into your website where you wish for the items to be displayed.

Defintely let me know if you run into any problems during the process and/or if you have any suggestions to make the service better. The whole idea was to create a powerful service that will allow you, the SFW website owner, the ability to drive more and more free traffic to your website(s).

NOTE #2: enTraffic.com has been in a private beta test since Nov. 6th of this year to a select few websites and just finally opened up to the public a few weeks ago. With this being said we aren't a large traffic exchange service (yet!), so some of you big boys out there, at least at the beginning, might send a little more traffic than you will get back, but as we grow and more and more websites get involved, it should even out.

Just a quick update ... now I know compared to some of those larger networks this isn't anything to brag about, but on Friday we hit the 1,000 hits sent per day mark and gave one lucky webmaster $10.00!

Everything seems to be running smoothly and can't wait to hit the 2,500 hit mark where we can give another lucky webmaster $25.00!
