Help install!

Ok, i know it is something simple... but im tired of trying to figure it out.

Ok, fresh spankin copy of phpas. I wanna ake a template for it before I put it online, so im trying to install it on localhost.

Did the install.php and everything seemed to work fine. But whenever i go to the index page all i get is a blank page. Same goes for when i try to log into the admin panel.

v4 or v3?

If its v3 - check you uploaded all the files, and that you have entered your db info in the db file (forgot what its called)

it's called config.php

that happens when the script can't connect to the database.
check the config.if it didn't enter the info make sure the config file is writable (chmod 777),then run the install again.
if that script has a settings file,you need to change the permissions for that also.
