Onarcade filing false claims against gubug

I am very upset as it seems that hostgator has taken my arcade offline due to a FALSE claim by hans the creator of onarcade script. He is saying that Gubug runs on the onarcade script but it does not. We originally had a free arcade script called playgames247
same as this site http://www.kedoba.com is using.
and we modified this script almost 100% now since then with many features not available on ANYONE who is selling these out of the box scripts. I wrote him privately but there is no reply and this is a very malicious thing to do against 2 people working very hard to build something original in the arcade niche. Maybe this is why so many guys just leave the arcade and move on because I have not ever seen this much drama before just from trying to build a small site online.

Can you not just move your hosting temporarily until this is cleared up?
I hope you get this cleared up soon. Sounds a little weird/strange that hostgator just shut you down without asking questions. I don't know how they are though as I have never used hostgator.

I noticed Hans to be quite influential in this matter. He has gotten many other sites shut down before. Anyways I hope this matter is resolved quickly.

For those who trade traffic with us. I am sorry for the downtime but I have a backup of my site and will be moving to another server ( in progress now ). In regards to hans please let me say that I am the last person to get involved in internet back and forth rant crap however.

We are here to run an arcade or 2 and not sell scripts with the same features so there are 100+ arcades with the same functionality like hans does. I will go on record and say that my brother has looked over a lot of code and he is of the oppinion that many scripts are no more than opensource code reworked to identify whoever is trying to brand this script. We actually are building new features that are useful to someone running an arcade. BTW to hans who sells so many of these scrips. I think if you have never RAN an arcade with a modest amount of success then it is hard to know what is useful. I don't like what this guy done one bit and if there were issues then he could have come to me first to clear them up like a businessman.

I also will say that Hostgator SUCKS and all anyone has to do is file a DMCA claim against you. BTW there is a form based PDF builder that will type these out for you available FREE online. Then print this out and fax or mail a hard copy to hostgator and you can get a site shutdown. Hostgator will not even ask for proof of copyright or attempt to validate these claims. So I would say to anyone on them good luck but we are leaving. Hostgator said that I was Emailed but I never saw it however I saw the ticket in their system. The ticket starts addressed as a reply from customer ( meaning it was most likely filed wrong ) because the letter they claim to have sent me is FROM me in the system. The good news is soon this will be behind me and my brother and we are so ticked off that now we are going to work our stuff 2x as hard and maybe sell a script for the fun of it someday after we get this project where we want it.

Want me to continue? Just because you download my script from some warez site and modify it a bit doesn't make it legal.

Hans my site was purchased off of Ebay and it was a free arcade script. and I have seen many people on this forum point that out to me. Just because someone puts a box in the profile section that says NO Avatar and it looks like yours that proves NOTHING. Our avatars popup on mouse over along with a blurb from the profile wich is filtered by our custom bad word filter ( NOTHING like yours ). BTW when we got the script adding avatars did not even work. Nor did updating passwords and several other bugs were fixed.

Does your site have what others are playing?
NO
Does yourr admin area show you a list of how many people who signed up as members
actually played games?
NO
Avators Dude we just added 400 avatars that members can add to their profile with 1 click
and BTW my about me looks nothing like yours

We have better caching than your script
We have built in promotion of game plugs that are circulated in with what others are playing
We have Built in levels and ranking system that is experience point based
We have built in referral system for members to refer other members
Our stats include a count of how many avatars in the galery
We have buttons over every game that list the latest 20 games
You have a waste of space with game sponsors that hardly NO ONE who buys your script will EVER sell. You probably could care less because you just sell alot of scripts and leave it at that but we have almost 20 years experience in software design ( Desktop,MOBIL and web based ).

You come on here and attempt to defame me saying I stole something from you. You are comparing our Rose Royce with all kinds of features to your PINTO. I am the nicest guy you ever want to meet but once I get this site where I want to watch us sell something that will REALLY help someone run a successful arcade. Maybe you think everyone is stealing from you because your stuff was just such basic cookie cutter technology that it does look like the free script.
