Oh now most scripts are opensource anyway David? LOL this thread is a shining example of why some guys will never do a new script like this free. Because if you did someone would come along compile your functions and sell an alpha version. Money off Mods want be much because there are guys selling licenses for some scripts now for $30 it seems. So how much would someone pay for a mod? This Niche is very bad to be in and I see it now. We are giving real thought to selling Gubug and moving on.

Some guys blast me in public then PM privately and say " well I dont really know " and most guys never even ask how much does Hans owe us for the lost time and months of work and investment on our part? You sick of looking at the thread ( So am I ) and I am sick of watching my site on a server I don't want it on and knowing that I got to move it back ( another 24Hrs work ) to where it was up at already. I say let the court decide and every attorney in here has an analogy with no legal background at all nor experience selling software except luiigiGSS who I respect for coming here and saying what he knew and reframing from speaking on what he did not know.

Entraffic is right and so was Fahd that if I had have seen an Email this would not happen but we run 8 sites online and do recording work at home. Hostgator claims they mailed me once at 12:18AM or that is what a rep said. Godaddy alerts me to every single change I make to my domain and Emails me several times over months when one of our domains are going to expire. Poor service from hostgator to me and I am starting to wonder if that even matters anymore and if producing quality products matters either when guys can't see that you dont pay for none functional code. Again what an exhausting thread because we owe Hans everything and
he is not responsible at all for securing his code in some legal way to Identify it as his like we are bound to with all the software we sold over the last 8+ years. This is why no one to serious would come and work on opensource here. David is pushing me to sell and move on because this is the least profitable niche we ever done online. I know I could make it work in time and I have been very open to networking with others but man I am exhausted.

Well I can see I did not make myself clear with what I meant by opensource... No one would ever compile and sell a copy of wordpress... because it is being given away from free. Several of the coders in that group make there living making custom mods and themes. Arcades are a pretty big niche as far as the amount of sites out there. But one man cannot run an opensource project like that. As every person that gets your free script expects 24/7 live customer support. Anyway I was just thinking out loud.

As for this being the least profitable niche you have ever been in...I will let you in on a little secret. I run a very profitable brick and mortar company with an e-commerce store. I started up an arcade or two because of all the niches you can jump into... this is by far the hardest.
The clicks dont pay. Traffic is there but thin because of competition. The big boys are always one upping things with cool new apps and site modifications.
So if you can make this work.... the knowledge you will have gained will make you a powerhouse in most anything else you ever do online. Starting an arcade opened my eyes up to a whole new way of looking at the web. My traffic to my store has tripled and sales have doubled since I started this arcade project.

If I was in this for the money... I think I would regurgitate 3 arcades every month and then sell them. But then that wouldn't be any fun. Beside I would miss all the drama.

Alfred I hope this all goes well my friend. When you get your site squared I have another traffic trade for you.

I totally agree with the car statement solidgamer said. The main car still belongs to the original owner regardless of how much stuff you add but if you bought that stolen car with no knowledge that it was stolen and police found it was stolen and confiscated/ impounded it and there was no compensation you'd be pretty annoyed and it wouldn't be "fair" because you will end up the worst off.

Okay...I have phparcadescript 2.0 version Its look almost the same is onarcade. If you are a programmer or know little php PM me i will send you the file and you be the judge. I am 99.999999% sure is stolen from phparcadescript..

onarcade 1.1 stolen from phparcadescript....The newer onarcade 2.0+ is NOT or i dont know

I think (can't rememebr who said it since, well, I don't want to go back a couple pages) when someone said all arcade scripts are opensource, he/she did not mean it in the actual definition of opensource, but rather the source is not encrypted.

The problem with giving away arcade scripts for free to people deals basically with the sense this ia a niche market. The more people running arcades the more difficult it is for arcade owners to run a successful arcade. Do you realy want thousands and thousands of novices running arcades and taking away the hard earned money you were making from your arcade?

Hey this is the happiest I have been in a while and I am going to be even happier in the next 4 - 6 months. Hans thank you for filing a DMCA with Google against me so much because I would have sold Gubug in a while and even if it was at less than I hoped for. However now I have surely decided to keep my site and stay in this industry. I have another script with MRR with most all basic arcade Functions and the owner is fine with us taking over developing. Now as I write this my brother is working on new stuff for that script and not a single line variable or whatever of your beloved buggy alleged 1.0 code will be on my site when it comes back up. We shall release this ENTIRELY UNIQUE from yours script on the market and good luck with keeping up with us man. hint gone are your days of updates 2x a year most likely you will be working much harder now.

After this I don't want to see one (1) more DMCA in my mailbox or I will not be coming back to this forum instead my attorney will be contacting you or an agent he retains in Estonia. This is really so simple I should have thought of it 10 pages ago but got caught up in this God forsaken thread.

Again When Gubug comes back online ALL CODE 100% of anything that I purchased from that stupid auction that did not include any reference to your script will be off my server. So maybe you should get back to running your business pal and stop acting so childish. How about updating your code hasn't it been atleast 6 months since your last release? instead you are in here and filing DMCA I dont understand you at all.
