Fannie May and Freddie Mack have been a government entity for a quite some time. Back in the 90's during the Clinton admin they started churning out loans to people that could not afford them. These loans have piled up and we are in this mess now. With socialist arms like this no party gets a pass. They have all supported these. But with people like Obama, they want many many more of these unsustainable entities. It's all about intent and not anything to do with results and we all pay the price.

Yes he proposes 1 Trillion in new spending in addition to the 700 Billion that he and democrats are stealing from tax payers. But where does the 1T come from? You can probably guess - you again!
There are significant differences between the two candidates on tax policy. McCain would like to make the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 permanent, and has proposed a few more of his own. Obama, by contrast, has admitted to allowing the tax cuts to expire as scheduled for Americans earning more than $250,000 a year. He would raise taxes on capital gains and dividends, but has also promised tax breaks for low and middle-income Americans. Of course, if elected he will most likely seek further tax increases as he has a history of taxing the little guy and putting a hurt on him!

lol "700 billion that the democrats are stealing from tax payers". As far as im aware it takes both sides of the aisle to approve that bailout, and it has been approved, and who made the biggest push to get it approved? George W Bush, who else.

Nerz - True it's a Bush/Obama bailout. No doubt about it Obama
and Bush are buddies for life now. But the reason for the bailout was because democrats squandered the money. They pushed bad programs like Fannie Mae and resisted any oversight. All roads lead back to the democrats, some of them even working on Obama's campaign. Now you know the truth Nerz ![]()

hitsfree you know this isn't true, but go ahead and talk about make a fool of yourself, by being a mindless America. Honestly you must be Fox News target audience, because you constantly post facts without checking if it true, and without checking if it is just lies and propaganda.
I leave you with this just to see how you react, you keep talking about Obama's 100k+ from Fannie Mae. And yet you don't mention. McCain's $21,000+ And Rick Davis(McCain's Campaign Manager)'s $1.5 million+ from Fannie Mae.

.11 - It's true and we both know it.
It took McCain how many years to receive the 21K? All bailout causes lead back to the democratic party. Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, etc. pushed high risk Fannie Mae Loans. They didn't want any oversight a few months ago. Look again at my signature - 100% accuracy. It doesn't get any more accurate.

this is total crap that all these threads were merged. This is the TOTAL opposite of free speech. So some people don't like a certain person's opinions so they just oppress those opinions. TOTALLY LAME!!
Worst move ever! I've seen spam bot posts remain in tact here while these topics by a legitimate member get edited. Totally crappy way to treat your members! |
