Wow. I can't afford these $100+/month servers plus the management fee.

Is there a cheaper way to do this? Right now I have almost no income because I sold KingdomArcade and have yet to finish my new site. Would a VPS from here work http://www.thegridlayer.com/products...te-servers.php ? It was linked to from layeredtech.com.

If I got one of these would I be able to host all my other sites on it too.

The grid is also a layeredtech company. If you go that route, there is no admin panel...it is an addon.

I really rather not go with GoDaddy. I too have heard they were bad.

Ok So this is what I configured at layeredtech.com:

Quote:
Unit price(Monthly + Setup): $108.00

Virtual Private Server - Gold Layer
20% of the CPU Core Resources
80GB Storage Space
512MB Memory Allocation
CentOS 4.x
CPanel/WHM Fantastico
4 IP's
Tier 1 Bandwidth per Node: 2000GB
Activate Protection
I don't know what a lot of those thing are so is there anything I should upgrade? I will be hosting 1 or 2 banner exchanges, 2+ arcades, democade.net, and my web dev portfolio.

Also when my sites start making more money will it be easy to upgrade to a fully dedicated server from these guys?

Layeredtech is a good one to go with. I personaly like to go with the ones who own the server, not a reseller. You will get faster service when you have issues come up, and you WILL have issuse come up.

As for Godaddy, I think I went with one of their VPSs a while back to ty them, didn't like it at all.

Good to see that you went with EBP though, the rest just don't hold up.
