What facts or corroborating evidence have you provided? Nothing. I've posted links all over the place. I could come up with evidence for all my claims but I feel it's pointless because no matter what I post you won't believe a word of it or say that I don't where an American flag pin so it's irrelevant.
Are you saying you like president Bush? I guess you're part of that quarter who somehow find him to be doing a good job. I've posted all kinds of things about Obama. Maybe it's your distorted view of the world which doesn't allow you to see the facts.

I only reference colour because others were inferring that Obama was somehow racist against white people.
Feel free to nit-pick some more and avoid the facts. You watch that speech I posted yet?

gamesvine - I saw the speech long ago.
Obama gives nice speeches but what does he really believe? Here's a fact you won't find in the mainstream news. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-.../posts?page=37 Obama was attending those hate sermons after all. |

Gamesvine - Here's another one of Obamas friends
that preaches at his church. When is Obama gonna part ways from that racist church? Notice how the church members enjoy bashing Hillary because she's white. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcrEi3qn8js Hillary is being abused bigtime! |

sadly one is judged by the company he keeps but honestly in business and politics you have to sometimes have bed fellows you don't agree with hitsfree. I could disagree with every politcal view you have but we can still network for the good of our arcades. Recently I started trading with solidgamer and you all have seen our differences. There are confused people around me all the time and some of them are family. I love them still but I don't share their views. My belief system is different . Look at the example a member just gave a while ago in this thread about his mother ( his views are different ). My views are very different from my fathers but I did not have to grow up in his shoes and live his life. I think maybe gamesvine is just saying Obama can't be responsible for everything someone confused around him said. Honestly if some of McCain's platform is similar to Bush then there is a need for comparison because he might govern like Bush. We live in a democracy and when 71% of the people say that you have it wrong then before you elect someone similar you need to look at things. I have not heard one single person say with ZEAL that McCain should be president. I would not vote at all if there was no one I had faith in and I know that is controversial but my vote will not go in the" why not" pile because I don't want to find out "why Not " down the road again in the form of more inflation and young people losing their lives.

I always argue from the other side in my head before I say my piece.
I don't hold the pastor thing against Obama, I don't like some of the things his wife has said publicly, but then again, it's not what he has said. For me it is what he has stated are his views that make me not want to vote for him. I could care less how eloquent he is. I don't blame Bush for where we are, most people overlook the most important politicians to them. Looking at the President when they should be looking to there local politicians for better leadership It starts in your community, If you can change your community then maybe other communities will change with you. Yes the President is and important figurehead, but there will never be a president in this country with 100% approval ratings, and there never has been before. So instead of bashing Bush because his speechmaking skills lack, or even bashing Obama because he trips up while trying to please everyone , think about what you do locally. Do you go into the voting booth and when you see all the names for Judge precint 14, you just punch a cool name? These local politicians are the people you should know and hold accountable for you well being, your job security, and your welfare. To much blame is placed on the biggest figurehead of all, the president. Blame yourselves in away. Our new Congress blows. Anyway back to the topic, Obama mispoke, people do stupid things and say stupid thing, If you don't like Obama don't vote for him, but don't not vote for him because he misspeaks a few sentences. I don't envy the amount of time and effort candidates put out trying to get this one job. The things we see on tv now, wouldn't have even been news 50 years ago. |

Obama preaches that America needs a consensus based on faith and bipartisanship, yet he continues to attend a racist Chicago church whose pastor routinely refers to "white arrogance" and "the United States of White America."
Wright conducted Obama's marriage to his wife Michelle, baptized his two daughters, and blessed Obama's Chicago home. Obama's best-selling book, "The Audacity of Hope," takes its title from one of Wright's sermons. Theres was no facet of Wright's racist thinking that Obama didn't embrace, until just very recently. America needs decent leadership not more deceit and racism |

hitsfree, I don't get it. Others here like Solidgamers can have a discussion without getting personal. He did renounce Reverend White, you see his actions being racially motivated. All you can see is his colour.
I do disagree with solidgamers about not blaming Bush. I'm not saying vote for Obama just because he's eloquent, his ideas are what's important and I don't hate Bush because he's a bad speaker. I hate him for what he's done to America as well as the rest of the world. I'd have to say most of America's large problems now stem from this war over it's head, causing crazy overspending which trickles down to the economy. Your local government is important but I don't think it has a say in issues such as the mortgage crisis and the war.

Heh it's politics,
I don't have to agree with you, but I do respect your rights to your own opinion. As bad as I think that opinion is, it's yours not mine. The beauty of it is as a population we can all disagree on the issues somewhat, and still be a great nation. My point is and has been that the news media blows stupid crap like this way out of proportion and then we don't see the real issues. In the immortal words of Obama "We live in the greatest nation in the world, I hope you'll join with me as we change it" See in any ironies in that statement? If its so great, why change it? lol Anyway I am out of this one now. I see no need for more pastorbashing. I only care what the candidates say. My friends would say a lot of stupid things if I were running for office, I don't have to agree with them to be their friend. They have their views I have mine. |
