Hello,
Anyone out there use BIGFISH? What do you think of them? I just started to use them and reallly dont understand the whole thing yet. I am hoping to talk to others that have been using them for a bit and get ideas.

How is it working out for you? Are you using thier feeds or the site template?

I found that they had good page layout and provided nice flash banners for each game, but there download process was annoying. My downloads per day dropped by 2/3 when I tried them out, either that or they weren't properly reporting my downloads... Maybe I missed out on something, but some people just want to click and download.

Conversions are a bit low. But if you can reach the right kind of person, then the conversion is worth it. Most of my sales have been for the GameClub 12 games in a year option. Meaning each conversion only results in $1.75 but it is per month for the next 12 months.

I've had a few $20 days when I was promoting it heavily in the beginning. I get a lot of repeat traffic to New Releases - FadArcade.com - Free Game Downloads - New Game Daily and so it is worthwhile whether they convert or not due to other revenue methods on the site.

Oh btw their top affiliate makes over $200,000 a year! (No longer listed in the top earners section.) Which is why I started promoting them.

You make 25% of sales for the lifetime of the customer. Most games are $19.99 individually. Gameclub pricing can be seen here Games for $6.99 with Game Club :: Big Fish Games

So nothing for email capture? Even though they will prob spam the user now they have it.

You can send your list emails through their interface, but you don't actually get the emails. They are bigfishes now. You get to see yoname@private... or something like that in your friends email list.

You can mail your users through BFGs interface. BFG also sends weekly newsletters which helps increase sales. Its actually pretty great, they take care of making the sales. Quite true to their word, all you have to do is focus on new customer acquisition and they take care of the rest.
