Is Your P.C. Vista Ready???
 Admire the Vista, then see if your PC can actually run it. Microsoft has released the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor Beta, a piece of software that scans your PC’s hardware and informs you whether or not it’s ready to run Windows Vista. Vista is the next generation of Windows, replacing XP when it is launched (either late this year or, if you believe some reports, the summer of 2007). As well as a generally tarted-up look – including eye-popping rotating 3D panes – it will also feature integrated Media Centre functions and will be optimised for widescreen monitors. Microsoft has also launched “Windows Vista Capable” and “Premium Ready” badges that will be slapped on new PCs able to run the software. As the name implies, Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor is currently in the beta stage of development, meaning that it is still being worked on and improved. A full release is promised for the coming months.
