Hallo,

EmeraldGames.com Is the biggest sonic related site to hit the internet aswell as the strongest to with stand copyright slaps and other laws which is meaning less to the UK act of "fair dealing". This site i plan to keep running for all it takes and it gains alot of attention from sonic/shadow/tails fans aswell which is a good thing too. Already it has a few partners like blueblurzone.com thanks ArcadeGamez  and gameserpent.com too thanks for that! will also increase partners with sonic related forums and sites in the near future to bring more into the site than ever before.The content selection is randomly picked out and collected from alot of unknown and known resources and also is the only one to put all this sonic related content into one website which most never thought of doing at all... Thanks i saved it from expiring on the aftermarket did you know it belonged to a old flash games maker? It has a sponsored flash game... i need to find it again and add it to emeraldgames its real good. Emeraldgames.. this site and others of mines are under the terms of "Fair Dealing" of the United Kingdom's Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 - Chapter III - section 30, subsection 1 - under the terms of criticism and/or review as follows: "Fair dealing with a work for the purpose of criticism or review, of that or another work or of a performance of a work, does not infringe any copyright in the work provided that it is accompanied by a sufficient acknowledgement." all content that are put up to emeraldgames.com are the the purpose of critcism and review therefore in the act of "fair dealings". Any copyright claims shall not be in power as it conflicts with the "fair dealings" by law i do have the right to add sonic related items on the site but only as they are for critcism and review purposes. Also all content are hosted externally on a file server which is on a oversea's location which i cannot say where but techically nothing is hosted on emeraldgames.com at all only the design and coding on the website itself. |
