Default Hey everyone... New from GO Arcades... :)

I run a free Auto-enthusiast site that has a Large Growing Free Arcade.
Only required to register if you want to save your high scores.
Open to anyone and everyone.
The theme is GrabberOrange which is the color of my Stang nicknamed GO BOSS 281
So, the arcade is "GO Arcade" to fit the theme...

I have phpBB3 and use the arcade mod by JRSweets... an awesome mod on his part.

I use free flash games and am able to modify them to make them work the way I want them to, so if you desire to have an edit done then feel free to PM me and if it is a legal request, I will then do it..

You should always feel free to pm me, reply to my forum posts and etc... I am not shy, but I also don't bite... I will even probably have more questions than you do...

Please explain what you mean by "modify them"? And how do you determine if it is legal or not?

Modify -
1.) Change how they look or perform
a.) Speed
b.) Text Color
c.) Points Tally (some games scores break arcade leaderboards -rare, but happens)
d.) Other

2.) Make score work with non-arcade scoreboard

Legal or Not -

1.) Do you have the permission of the game author/destributor to mod the game.
2.) Contacting the email or web address in the game, or from where you got the game.
3.) If you don't know, you shouldn't do it.
4.) Not many restrict mods to work in non-arcade scoreboards, but they may not want the game integrity changed by modding look and feel.

This pretty much limits the numbers of games that can be done. Care should be taken to ensure we respect the authors rights. Remember Respect first, mod second.

I hope this helps to answer your questions.

Oh, ok... So you contact them to see if you can modify it... I'm a flash developer and just can't imagine giving someone else the "ok" to take my code and modify it. I guess everyone is different though.

Thanks for the reply.
