Gamesite Script Memory Issue

I have just had to upgrade my servers RAM to 3 GB now for only 3k on my GSS site which is costing me a fortune

I would really appreciate anyone that has some tips/tweaks that help to reduce GSS's rediculous memory issue

I think this topic would help ALOT of people, im sure its not just me.....

I have already removed some code from the php files to reduce sql querys but im no expert....

Please HELP!

have you tried the GSS forum? I don't know if you can get much help for this there though until the new 4.0 comes out.

Arcade scripts can be very server demanding. A lot of hosts are starting to limit them on thier servers or chokin the BW and load they create....

caching is the solution for this.

the new version of GSS have this feature.
i used the caching to avoid this problem , and working fine now

I got some good news for you.

I posted two hack for gss in improving speed and dramatically reducing memory usage.

Depends on your traffic and code, but did ya fix this?

GSS3.2 was released a few days back. Takes up 10% of power it used to and loads 5x faster
