Why not use branded blank CD's and DVD's and give a few out that way they will last for years and have your branding

woo, What is your budget for this? Here is the smallest available package - $30 each (you and me) for 250 ($0.12/pen) pens imprinted with 2 lines of your marketing messages (and 2 lines of mine). Delivery time would be about a week. Would you be able to distribute them? Regarding the pens, at this price point, they would be either BIC or Stick pens. If you want samples, I can send you some old leftovers I have from past campaigns.
timewind, you can actually get a tv spot for only $500? More info please! smiths, the problem is they usually have a large minimum order requirement like 10,000 or so and that requires a huge commitment.

Ahh well that counts me out... located in Australia No matter, the school holidays don't start here for a while so I have plenty of time to think of some good marketing to schools. Let me know how your campaigns go because if successful I will have to do one. |

I am trying to think of things that will get more attention than pens. I assume the pens are low quality/ugly. What about a custom eraser or fun stickers for the younger kids? Also what how much would a half page flyer cost to get printed? I could have my neighbors stick it on bulletin boards in popular hallways and rooms. Branded/watermarked note cards might work well also and cheaper than flyers.
If I go in on it I want to get more than 250 for $30.

woo, if you pm me your mailing address. I can send you some of the pens. They are cheap but usable. They look like the bic/stic pens you get at walmart, staples, etc. The problem with most other items are that they are expensive and require minimum orders of a few hundred/thousand pieces. And simply not worth it for arcade sites imo. Take a look at www.4imprint.com for ideas.
I've also done golf balls but this was for a site selling high end golf clubs and so it was worth it.
