[MOD] GEO-Trading Traffic.

Hey guys,
Been testing this mod and finally its been good to release, This is a GEO mod i built for myself and a few friends but then i no longer run any trade sites and not planning to run any for the time so i thought i could sell it.

This mod is tracks the GEO of the traffic you send and recieve:

Adding or removing credits for traders:

And also trades GEOraphically for the countries you pick

Example:
If you want to Trade your US and Sri Lankan Visitors. The script will give credits for that particular countries when traders send you traffic. This credits is then used in future when sending out traffic from these countries.

So when a US visitor Comes from "Kilobilo.com", Kilobilo.com recieves +1 US credit. Then another US visitor is about to be sent out via a plug and Kilobilo.com has a plug for that game. The script picks Kilobilo.com. If no other sites have any credits for the country you pick. The User isn't sent to any sites they play the game on your site. This will help keeping you US visitors and use them wisely and make more money.

Looking for 130$ with installation included.

does it use maxmind database for ips?

Yes it does. I tested services like GEOplugin etc but their API slows down your site when their server is slow.

Maxmind is also pretty accurate

I have to say this sounds like impressive coding but if everyone just starts only sending out traffic from specific countries want that filter trades and bring volume down? I send out 30% or so Tier 1 traffic to everyone who trades with me. I dont know if it is that simple to raise revenue because if traffic is not contextual it will still bounce. Please don't take this as me being negative about your thread just bringing up some points and most guys will only be able to send 10 - 20% Tier 1 traffic at best according to my analysis so you might have to reach a certain volume in order for this to have a significant impact on revenue.

Also what if guys start doing the opposite and only sending out tier 3 guys but trying to keep the best Geo traffic on their site(s) ( what is the purpoose of me trading with someone who knowingly chooses to do this ) and I trade with alot of the other smaller sites now but if this impacts me negatively I am concerned.

Hey Folks,

what aashwin coded here is something special. I could raise my US traffic significant.

Usually i have about 10 - 15 % us traffic on my site.
But, for example today: I have already, with less UV, almost 30 % US traffic.

Thats incredible and my Adsense is working great for me.

Digi....it sounds good to me for the following reason: With this mod you can send and receive the same quality (quality as in country) traffic on a per trader basis which pays more. It sounds like this mod will let you do that. So if you have other partners that send majority of a particular non US country, then you could probably elect not to send them your US traffic in return and keep trading with them as you normally would.

@Aashwin It would be nice to know if the mod has fall backs so that (for instance) any unused US/CA traffic could be re-queued for the other traders if there was no existing plug credit to use it for.

I personally think this mod sounds great. I have been meaning to look into doing GEO tracking for ATS, but never had the time.

This mod is not for everyone though. Digi made some good points. For example: if you are buying all your traffic and only buy trier 3 traffic then you won't be able to use this mod that well because you will take a long time to be able to send the trier 1 and 2 traffic back to those who sent you some. Also in the case that it be abused and used to only send trier 3 traffic out the only protection would be manually checking analytics and dumping that trader or having this mod installed to send the crap back.

With that said, the biggest bonus is keeping the quality traffic on your site longer. You won't have to worry about only accepting quality partners as much because having low quality partners with quality ones will help you retain more trier 1 traffic which usually ends in you earning more from ads.

I agree that people can do stuff with this mod to send out teir 3 traffic out. But if they are willing to do that normally they wouldn't need this mod. The point of this mod was / is to trade traffic depending on what you recieve. So you don't have to worry about recieving Teir 3 traffic from a particular site and sending him US traffic. This was the case with inupgames, he used to send 50-60% US traffic out to other sites but recieved Teir 3 countries.... With this he is sending out equal amount of teir 1 traffic.

Like woochoo, said this mod might not be useful for everyone...

@woochoo, you actually don't need this mod to send teir 3 crap out, its easy as buying very cheap teir 3 traffic and sending it out and recieving Teir 1 traffic in return.

Just like anything its got its advantages and its disadvantages. If used right, then it is a very useful tool.
