Spend only 1/2 your earnings on some other method of generating traffic. Maybe youtube posts and myspace Comments etc.. and enjoy the other half you deserve it. I vote diversify however because you don't want to be at the mercy of Google some day.

It would be prudent to save some of the money as well. That's part of diversifying anyways. Not just diversifying what type of site you own, but investing in other things to make you money, such as bank accounts, etc. For all you know, there might be another bubble burst coming that makes the .com burst of a few years ago look small.

IMHO directory listings are a complete waste of time. I have 2 sites both based on the same topic, both topsites. The first one I bought a 500 directory submission pack for and well it got me a quick PR3 but those directories do not give any traffic at all. The second site only has links to and from sites on the same topic and even when it was a PR0 it was getting 3 - 4 times more traffic from search engines (especially google) then my PR3 site was.

Thanks everyone. I think I will save some of it but I also want the rest to make next months earnings even more.

You typically don't submit to directories to get traffic from them. You do it to rank high in search engines for the keywords you researched. If you don't put your keyword(s) in the link text or the description you won't see anything except PR and PR doesn't have a ton to do with your overall search rankings. Also doing an auto submit service is usually a bad idea. Most directories that don't require CAPTCHA are low quality. I have improved my traffic/earnings 3 times since last month due to this kind of SEO work and a few others.

yea it was a manual submission package to the top 500 directories by PR, I sent lots of relevant keywords. I know you don't submit links to directories for direct traffic the point was that they have no direct value. I could also argue the fact that because directories are just crap link farms they won't be considered quality content by search engines and the link weight will be minimal. As search engines get more intelligent in their ability to sift through the rubbish and the quality you at the end of the day would be much better off looking for links on sites of a similar topic.

I forgotten to mention that I did actually see a rise in traffic on the site I bought the directory submissions for but it was nothing compared to the site that I didn't get submissions for.

I just came across this site which I am absolutely loving...

Online Semi-Automated directory submission Tool as low as $4

Their software makes it super easy and fast to submit to 3000...more like 4500 now, directories.

Found it here:
$4 Submit your site to more than 3000 Pr+ Directories ""$4""

It costs $4, but there is a free version too...which is the only one I tried so far...but I am definately upgrading today...

Thanks! I almost stopped submitting because I was getting tired of looking for a few new directories each day. I upgraded right away.

It takes them awhile to upgrade your account, though. If they have not yet, send them an email or post or PM the guy at DP.
