Many advertisers wanted to be able to pay a little more for a better chance to get a piece of the advertising, so that is what the new system provides, but it also allows the price to go below a penny a click, even less than half a penny a click, if they don't sell first.
Also, we have shortened up our backlog, so that advertising packages are coming available every few hours or few days, and we are able to deliver larger amounts on a daily basis to advertisers that have bought larger amounts, and want them delivered quickly as possible.
In addition to recent work to improve the deal for publishers, we've also been improving the deal for advertisers. We are now sending a bit more traffic than is recorded in the FK stats. This is intended to make sure that advertisers get good value and to make Analytics stats even closer to FK stats.
The new system is a work in progress, and it will be improving over the next days and weeks.
